Plasma Pen is a non-surgical, non-invasive treatment that
shrinks excess skin, bags, and wrinkles. The skin around the
plasma flash tightens and draws the cells closer together.
It is the only treatment that successfully reduces excess
skin.
The Plasma Pen handpiece provides a small plasma flash that
jumps from tip to skin in a micro-millimeter size. This
superficial point minimizes the skin in its immediate
vicinity - which reduces excess skin, tightens the lid /
under the eye area. A series of small brown spots are
strategically placed in a particular pattern to achieve the
desired result for the excess skin.
What are the side effects?
Usually, no serious side effects are to be expected. When treating smaller areas of skin, healing is no matter. When treating larger areas of skin, swelling may occur for 1-3 days. The scab falls off a few days later. After that, the skin in the treated area will be pink for about 4 weeks to 4 months. After treatment up to approximately 4 months after, UV protection with SPF 50 must be applied to avoid pigmentation problems.
How many sessions are necessary?
The number of sessions depends on the findings, the area of the skin to be treated, the intensity of treatment and the ability of the skin to heal. Depending on the desired result, 1-4 sessions may be necessary.
